Rick Allgeier runs a first class
HVAC/R company. My family's house needed a new air conditioning
and furnace system. We had a small emergency so my husband
called a friend in the building business to ask for a referral.
He quickly recommended Rick. Mike called Rick's voice mail
after working hours, and Rick returned our call within minutes
even though he did not know us. He gave us advice as to how
to deal with our immediate situation, and told us he would
be out the next morning.
In all of our meetings, Rick was professional and polite.
He began by asking me what was important to me, and what
did I want most in our HVAC system (cost, allergy control,
efficiency, etc.). I am the type of consumer who asks 20
plus questions. Rick took the time to explain how each component
worked, and when I said I didn't understand certain explanations,
he never showed the least bit of impatience.
Allgeier's work crew was like him; professional and efficient.
Rick checked back after the job was done to make sure it
was done right. When he came back he did an air balance check
to make sure each room is getting the right amount of ventilation.
I was impressed with the computer sheet he showed me that
used particular facts about each individual room to determine
the air flow needed. During the air flow check, Rick discovered
several problems with the existing duct work (a previous
owner do-it-yourself mess). Allgeier's crew was back the
next day to correct the problems someone else had created,
at no charge. In fact, several extra small jobs were added
on at no extra charge.
I was direct with Rick before we employed his company. I
told him I was looking thor three essentials: a fair price,
service, and honesty. He looked at me in the eye and told
me in his own way, that I could trust him to give us my requests.
We hope to build a home within the next five years. I know
we will call on Rick Allgeir to install our home's ventilation
system, because I want someone I can trust when it involves
my family's respiratory health, comfort and safety.
