Does your current carbon monoxide detector really protect your family?
Carbon Monoxide Monitors
Carbon monoxide monitors sold in retail chains typically detect concentrations above 70 ppm* (parts per million), but concentrations as low as 5 ppm* can be harmful to you and your family. Clover carries the NSI 3000 Low-Level CO Monitor, one of the most sensitive CO alarms available.
Low-Level Carbon Monoxide Monitors Are Recommended For:
- Young children
- The elderly
- Pregnant women
- People with chronic medical conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, heart disease or anemia.
This low-level carbon monoxide monitor will display levels of CO below 30 ppm (standard CO alarms DO NOT!) and help to alert you of potentially dangerous levels of carbon monoxide. The conventional carbon monoxide monitors sold in store’s, alarm at 70 parts per million (PPM). A fireman will not enter a home without breathing apparatus on at 35 PPM. The Environmental Protection Agency published exposure limit is 9 PPM. Our monitors will alarm gently at 10 PPM (sounds similar to a low battery chirp), A little more forcefully at 35 PPM and very loud at 70 PPM.
